Connect ‘n’ Grow is approved as a Pre-qualified Supplier (PQS) to deliver the following qualification(s) {HLT23215 Certificate II in Health Support Services} as a Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) funded qualification(s). This is funded by the Queensland Government.

Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded by the Vocational Education and Training investment budget is fee-free for Queensland secondary school students*; and the Vocational Education and Training investment budget will only fund one employment stream qualification (per student). The HLT23215 Certificate II in Health Support Services is currently listed on the Department’s list of employment stream qualifications funded by the Vocational Education Training in Schools initiative.

Students have the option to either:

  • Select this program as their one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification; or
  • Advise Connect ‘n’ Grow that they choose not to use this program as their one Vocational Educational and Training in Schools funded qualification; and therefore undertake this qualification as fee-for-service (i.e. non-funded, where Connect ‘n’ Grow invoices their school a per participant fee).

By choosing this qualification as their one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification, students forgo the opportunity to access another Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification while at school. Connect ‘n’ Grow will notify the school’s nominated ‘Program Manager’ (e.g. Head of Department) if it is identified post-enrolment that a student does not meet eligibility requirements as per above.
